Judith Ann Treichler, 63, of Longswamp Township, died Friday, July 23, 2010, in her family residence. She was the wife of Larry D. Treichler, whom she married August 14, 1965.

Born in Allentown, she was a daughter of the late Bruce R. and Ethel L. (Luckenbill) Rader. She was a 1964 graduate of Kutztown Area High School, Kutztown. She was a telecommunications coordinator at Kutztown University for 24 years, retiring in 2006; prior to that she was a nurses’ aide at the Lutheran Home at Topton and a baker for M. W. Wood Co. at Kutztown University. Mrs. Treichler was a member of Hope Lutheran Church, Bowers, where she also was a member of the women’s Bible study and the Red Hat Society. She was past president of the Kutztown Jaycee Women and a volunteer with the Topton Ambulance. She was the chairperson of the Kutztown Neighborhood Girl Scouts.

She is survived by Husband, Daughter, Julie A. (Treichler) wife of Bart D. Bailey, Shoemakersville; Son, David B. Treichler, Fleetwood. Also surviving are 2 Grandsons, Brian D. Bailey and Michael D. Treichler. Services are private at the convenience of the family. Inurnment in Fairview Cemetery, Kutztown.
