Willis H. Nolt

Willis H. Nolt, 74, of 87 Kempsville Road (Richmond Twp.) Kutztown, died Friday, March 18 2005, at Sander Alley & Lambert Alley, Kutztown, where he was stricken while riding his bicycle. He was the husband of Lydia M. (Zeiset) Nolt, they were married December 4, 1952.

Born in Earl Twp., Lancaster County, PA, he was the son of the late Elam B. and the late Katie (Horning) Nolt. He was the owner / operator of the former Nolt’s Roofing & Siding, Kutztown, for over 20 years until his retirement in December, 2000. He was a member and Trustee for 30 years of the Fleetwood Old Order Mennonite Church, Richmond Twp.

He is survived by Wife, Son, James Z. Nolt, Kutztown (Richmond Twp.); Daughters, Irene Z. (Nolt) Burkholder, Bowers, Lucy Z. (Nolt) Burkholder, Kutztown, Suzanne Z. (Nolt) Martin, Mount Joy, Lancaster County, Marlene Z. (Nolt) Martin, Lititz, Lancaster County; Brother, Ira H. Nolt, New Holland, Lancaster County; Sisters, Lydia (Nolt) Leid, Kutztown, Anna (Nolt) Stauffer, New Holland, Lancaster County, Eva (Nolt) Hoover, Ephrata, Lancaster County, Emma (Nolt) Shirk, Kutztown, Lucy (Nolt) Martin, Himrod, NY; 30 Grandchildren, 4 Great Granddaughters.

Funeral Services are Tuesday, March 22, 2005, at 9:00 AM from his late residence, 87 Kempsville Road, Kutztown (Richmond Twp.) with services continuing at 9:45 AM at Fleetwood Old Order Mennonite Church, Fleetwood – Lyons Road, Richmond Twp. Interment in the church cemetery. Friends may call Monday 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at his late residence. Arrangements are by the Ludwick Funeral Home, Kutztown, PA.
