Willard S. Bucks

Willard S. Bucks, 78, of Normal Avenue, Kutztown, died Tuesday, July 11, 2006, in his residence. He was the husband of the late Fern B. (Huseman) Bucks who died on November 4, 1991.

Born in Maxatawny Township, Berks County, he was the son of the late Stanley C. and Elda M. (Bieber) Bucks. He was an Army Veteran of WWII and a member of the Ray A. Master Post #217, American Legion, Topton. He was a laborer at East Penn Manufacturing, Inc., Lyon Station, from 1978 until his retirement in 1991. He was a truck driver at the former Jesse Kroninger Trucking, Dryville; and, a school bus driver for Kutztown Area School District for over ten years. He was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church, Kutztown.

He is survived by Daughter, Barbara A. wife of Gene S. Green; Step Daughter, Debra L. (Merkel) Albus; Sons, Dennis J. and Carl W. husband of Joanne K. (Cook) Bucks all of Kutztown; 3 Grandchildren, 2 Step Grandchildren, 2 Great Grandsons and 2 Step Great Grandchildren.

Funeral Services are Saturday, July 15, 2006 at 10:30 AM in the Ludwick Funeral Home, 333 Greenwich Street, Kutztown. Interment with Military Honors in Fairview Cemetery, Kutztown. Friends may call Saturday from 9:30 to 10:30 AM. Arrangements are by the Ludwick Funeral Home, Kutztown, PA.
