Wayne R. Trexler
Wayne R. Trexler, 91, formerly of East Weis Street, Topton, died Saturday, March 25, 2006, in Kutztown Manor Nursing Home where he resided since January 16, 2004. He was the husband of Mabel I. (Hoffman) Trexler, also a resident of Kutztown Manor; they were married April 7, 1940.
Born in Maxatawny Twp., Berks County, PA, he was the son of the late Herbet G. and the late Sallie M. (Gaby) Trexler. He was an assembler at Caloric Corp. at is former Topton plant for over 29 years until his retirement in 1980. He was a member of Mount Zion Lutheran Church, (Grimville) (Greenwich Twp.) Kutztown, PA.
He is survived by Wife, Daughter, Joyce G. (Trexler) Sturtevant, Mertztown (Longswamp Twp.); Son, Wayne D. Trexler, Topton; 4 Grandchildren, 2 Step Grandchildren, 5 Great Grandchildren.
Funeral Services are Thursday, March 30, 2006, 10:30 AM from Ludwick Funeral Home, 25 East Weis Street, Topton with the Rev. James R. Hammond officiating. Interment in Fairview Cemetery, (Maxatawny Twp.) Kutztown. Friends may call Wednesday, 7:00 PM to 8:30 PM at the funeral home.
Flowers may be sent or contributions may be made to the memorial fund of Mt. Zion Lutheran Church, 1343 Long Lane Rd., Kutztown, 19530. Arrangements are by the Ludwick Funeral Home, Topton, PA.
