Wayne H. Hertzog, Sr.
Wayne H. Hertzog, Sr., 73, formerly of Kutztown died Monday, October 9, 2006 in ManorCare, West Reading, where he had been a resident since 2002.
Born in Maxatawny Township, Berks County, he was a son of the late Herbert E. and Elda M. (Guinther) Hertzog. He was a self employed driver for area Mennonites for 20 years; prior to that he worked at the former Allen Electric Company, Allentown, for 21 years retiring in 1972.
He is survived by Daughters, Annette D. Hummel and Debra A. Angstadt of Kutztown; Sons, Wayne H., Jr., Phoenix, AZ., Randy C. and Michael W. of Kutztown; Sister, Shirley L. King, Hamburg; Brothers, Carl H. and Richard C. of Topton, Dennis G. and Noel P. of Kutztown; 11 Grandchildren; 12 Great Grandchildren. He was predeceased by Brothers, Warren, Leon and Donald.
Funeral Services are Saturday, October 14, 2006 at 10:30 AM in the Ludwick Funeral Home, 333 Greenwich Street, Kutztown. Interment in New Jerusalem Union Cemetery, Fleetwood. Friends may call Saturday from 9:00 to 10:30 AM.
