Richard J. Fox

To Mr. Fox's family-

I worked for Mr. Fox beginning December 1978 until his retirement. I admired and respected him immensely. As the Director of Fiscal Services, his true title, Mr. Fox was a kind and caring mentor who was tough when necessary. I always enjoyed our conversations and meetings in his office on Farragut Ave. Mark Kelly and I were very close to Mr. Fox; before he left DVMC, we took him to lunch at Alvino's, a restaurant near the new facility in Oxford Valley. I'll always remember that day and the six years we worked together.

The last time we communicated, I asked Mr. Fox if he would supply a letter of recommendation for me. He graciously did so and I, in fact, left DVMC for a new position.

It's been thirty years since I first met Mr. Richard Fox and began my 30 year healthcare career. He had a profound influence on me and I will never forget him.

With love and God's peace in your time of loss,

Anthony L. Manzo
