Robert S. “Subby” Heater
Robert S. “Subby” Heater, 75, of State Street, Mertztown, PA (Longswamp Township), died Wednesday, September 14, 2005, in the family residence. He was the husband of the late Beryl A. (Kunkel) Heater who died on November 12, 1989.
Born in Fleetwood, PA, he was the son of the late Jacob and the late Mae A. (Schadler) Heater. He was a welder at the former Dana Corporation, Reading, for 31 years retiring in 1989. He was a peacetime US Air Force veteran.
He is survived by Son, Allen R. Heater, Leesport; Daughters, Susan H. (Heater) Smith, Lenhartsville, Nancy K. Heater, Reading, Karen M. Heater, Colorado Springs, CO; Brother, Ralph S. Heater, Watsontown, PA; Sister, Dorothy A. (Heater) Kaufman, Fleetwood; Companion, Arlene H. (Deisher) Kunkel, Kutztown.
Funeral Services are Monday, September 19, 2005 at 2:00 PM from the Ludwick Funeral Home, 333 Greenwich Street, Kutztown. Interment in Fleetwood Cemetery, Fleetwood. Friends may call Monday from 1:00 to 2:00 PM.
The family requests contributions to Lehigh Valley Hospice, 2166 S. 12th Street, Allentown, PA 18103. Arrangements are by the Ludwick Funeral Home, Kutztown, PA.
