Robert H. Thomas, Jr.
 Robert H. Thomas, Jr., 76, of Allentown died Monday, December 24, 2006 at Lehigh Valley Hospital Cedar Crest. He was the husband of Sara Ann (Hecker) Thomas with whom he celebrated their 45th wedding anniversary in August.
Born in Bethlehem, PA, he was the son of the late Robert H. and Arline (Hunsicker) Thomas. Mr. Thomas graduated from Liberty High School and earned a B.S. in Education at Kutztown University in 1959 and his Masters in Education at Lehigh University in 1968. He taught English at Emmaus Junior High from 1959 to 1965 and at Raub Junior High from 1965 until his retirement in 1982. He was a veteran of the US Air Force serving during the Korean War. He was a board member of the Lehigh Valley Educators Credit Union for over 25 years representing the group at annual state conventions. He also was a former treasurer of the Lehigh Valley Chapter of Credit Unions. He was a member of Faith UCC Church Allentown.
He is survived by Wife, Sara-Ann Thomas; Sons, Douglas Thomas and his wife Susan (Weaver) Thomas of Mertztown, Geoffrey Thomas and his companion Marciann Albert of Emmaus; Grandchildren, Noah Alexander and Anja Patience; Sister Sandra (Thomas) Ruth of Waterford CT. He was predeceased by a Brother, Ronald and Sister, Lorraine Wright.
Memorial Services are Wednesday, December 27, 2006 at 3:00 PM from Faith UCC Church 2510 West Livingston Street, Allentown 18104. There are no calling hours.
The family requests contributions to the Memorial Fund of Faith UCC Church 2510 West Livingston Street, Allentown 18104. Arrangements are by the Ludwick Funeral Home, Kutztown, PA.
