Richard T. Angstadt
Richard T. “Tweet” Angstadt, 49, Kutztown, died suddenly Friday, April 3, 2009 in the Emergency Department of Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township where he was taken after being stricken in his home.
Born in Allentown, PA, he was a son of the late Walter B. and Bernice E. (Miller) Angstadt. He was Lutheran. He was a chef at the Uptown Espresso Bar, Kuztown, for the past 15 years. He was a 1977 graduate of Kutztown Area High School, Kutztown; and a Graduate of Johnson & Wales University, Providence, RI, with a bachelor’s degree in Culinary Arts.
He is survived by Brothers, Thomas W. husband of Gale E. (Schaefer) Angstadt, Eugene, Oregon, Glenn D. Angstadt who last resided in Reading. He was predeceased by a Sister, Jane Angstadt in 1955.
Graveside Services are Thursday, April 9, 2009, at 11:00 AM in Fairview Cemetery, Kutztown. There will be a Memorial Service Thursday, April 9, 2009, at 2:00 PM in Trinity Lutheran Church, 357 West Main Street, Kutztown. There are no calling hours. Arrangements are by the Ludwick Funeral Home, Kutztown, PA.
