Raymond S. Turner
Raymond S. Turner, 74, of Mine Road, Mertztown, died Wednesday, April 16, 2008 in his residence. He was the husband of Dorothy L. (Keim) Turner. They were married on December 22, 1951.
Born in Rockland Township, Berks County, PA he was a son of the late Helen M. (Rothermel) Shade. He was a member of New Jerusalem Lutheran Church, Fleetwood. He was a salesman for Grim’s Used Auto Parts, Bowers, for 27 years retiring in 1989.
He is survived by Wife, Sons, Allen C. husband of Cheryl A. (Stahler) Turner, Fleetwood, Sherwood R. husband of Anne (Guzman) Turner, Oley, Dean J. husband of Laurie A. (Moll) Turner, Mertztown, Keith B. husband of Lisa (Missimer) Turner, Milford, De; Daughter, Lori A. (Turner) wife of John L. Eck, Mertztown; Sisters, Dorothy M. (Shade) Greis, Kutztown, Mildred R. (Shade) Reinert, Fleetwood; 10 Grandchildren, 5 Great Grandchildren. He was predeceased by a Brother, Elton R. Shade.
Funeral Services are Saturday, April 19, 2008 at 2:00 PM in the Ludwick Funeral Home, 333 Greenwich Street, Kutztown. Interment in New Jerusalem Union Cemetery, Fleetwood. Friends may call Saturday from 1:00 to 2:00 PM.
The family requests contributions to the American Cancer Society, 498 Bellevue Avenue, Reading, PA 19605. Arrangements are by the Ludwick Funeral Home, Kutztown, PA.
