Mary V. Pauley
Mary V. Pauley, 80, formerly of Reading, PA, died Sunday, November 20, 2005, in The Henry Health Care Center of The Lutheran Home at Topton, where she resided since March, 2005, prior to that she resided in Heilman House of The Lutheran Home at Topton. She was the wife of the late Harold D. Pauley who died November 25, 1985.
Born in Reading, PA, she was the daughter of the late Carmelo and the late Caroline (Danzi) Ferro. She was last employed as a custodian at Albright College, Reading, for five years until her retirement in 1990; prior to that she worked for 25 years for Heck Brother’s Florist, Reading. She was a Foster Grandmother through the Foster Grandparents Program with the Berks County Office of Aging, serving the Brandywine School District at the District-Topton Elementary School from 2000 to 2004. She was a member of Saint Paul’s Lutheran Church, Mertztown (Longswamp Twp.).
She is survived by Sons, Daniel J. Pauley, Mertztown, Harold “Mike” D. Pauley, Sinking Spring, PA; Brothers, William J. Ferro, Reading, Joseph J. Ferro, Blandon; 11 Grandchildren, 15 Great Grandchildren.
Funeral Services are Friday, November 25, 2005, 10:30 AM from Ludwick Funeral Home, 25 East Weis Street, Topton. Interment in Forest Hills Memorial Park, Reiffton. Friends may call Friday, 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the funeral home. Arrangements are by the Ludwick Funeral Home, Topton, PA.
