Mary Lou Wessner
Mary Lou Wessner, 67, of Moselem Springs Road, Shoemakersville, died Monday, March 5, 2007 in St. Luke’s Hospital, Allentown, where she had been a patient since February 27th. She was the wife of the late William M. Wessner who died on October 2, 1996.
Born in Kutztown, PA, she was the daughter of the late Dorothy (Schadler) Lesher. She was a self employed housekeeper for over 40 years for various residences and businesses in the area. She was a life member of the Kutztown F.O.E. Ladies Auxiliary; and, the Hamburg and former Kutztown American Legion Ladies Auxiliaries.
She is survived by Daughters, Brenda L. wife of Scott A. Wengert, Kutztown, Patricia A. wife of Daniel A. Adam, Shoemakersville, with whom she resided; Son, Michael B. husband of Carol A. (Reimert), Kutztown; Step Sister, Betsy (Lesher) wife of Richard Bortz, Kutztown; 4 Grandchildren, 3 Great Granddaughters. She was predeceased by Brother, Edwin R. Schadler who died in May of 2006 and Step Sister, Bonnie L. (Lesher) Reimert who died in December of 2004.
Funeral Services are Saturday March 10, 2007 at 10:00 AM in the Ludwick Funeral Home, 333 Greenwich Street, Kutztown, 19530. Interment in Zion Moselem Church Cemetery, Kutztown. Friends may call Friday from 7:00 to 8:30 PM. Arrangements are by the Ludwick Funeral Home, Kutztown, PA.
