Margo A. Radcliffe
Margo A. (Wendell) Radcliffe, 68, of Mertztown, died Friday, September 18, 2009 in the University of Pennsylvania Hospital, Philadelphia. She was the wife of Ronald C. “Manny” Radcliffe. They were married July 10, 1958.
Born in Allentown, she was a daughter of the late Harrison J. and Arlene C. (Rauenzahn) Wendell. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Topton. She was employed by the Brandywine Heights Area School District for 34 years until her retirement in 2002 as Manager / Cook in both the high school and middle school. Margo was a 1958 graduate of Brandywine Heights Area High School. She was a member of Brandywine Minstrels for 26 years.
She is survived by Husband, Daughter, Cathlene D. (Radcliffe) wife of Doug G. Bachman, Greensboro, NC and Son, Corey A. Radcliffe, Topton. There are also 3 Grandsons, Ryan D., Nathan G., and Daniel G.; and a Great Grandson, Adin M. She was predeceased by a Brother, Barry A. Wendell who died March 18, 2006.
Memorial Services are Tuesday, September 22, 2009, at 7:30 PM in Trinity Lutheran Church, Home Avenue & East Smith Street, Topton. Inurnment is private at the convenience of the family. Friends may call Tuesday from 6:30 to 7:30 PM in the church.
In lieu of flowers the family requests contributions be made to Trinity Lutheran Church Memorial Fund, P.O. Box 37, Topton, 19562 or American Heart Association, West Lawn Professional Plaza, Building A, Suite 10, 25 Stevens Avenue, West Lawn, PA 19609. Arrangements are by the Ludwick Funeral Home, Topton, PA.
