Mabel C. Wanner
Mabel C. Wanner, 86, formerly of Smith Street, Topton, died Wednesday, January 18, 2006, in The Lutheran Home at Topton, Topton, where she had been a resident since October 31, 2005. She was the wife of the late Donald “Jim” C. Wanner who died on March 22, 1990. Her first husband, Warren A. Moyer, died in1965.
Born in Upper Macungie Township, Lehigh County, PA, she was the daughter of the late Harvey and the late Edna A. (Dry) Spohn. She was a laborer at the former Wenton Shoe Factory, Kutztown, for several years. She was a member of St. Peter’s UCC Church, Topton, where she was a choir member for over 30 years.
She is survived by Daughter, Betty J. (Moyer) Greiss, Topton; Sons, Leon W. Moyer, Topton, Carl R. Moyer, Fleetwood; Grandchildren, Troy A. Greiss, Leann Hauck, Todd A. Greiss and Amy S. Moyer; Great Grandchildren, Lindsay, Shelby, Ian, Conner and Colton Greiss and Taylor Hauck.
Funeral Services are Saturday, January 21, 2006 at 10:30 AM in St. Peter’s UCC Church, 122 West Franklin Street, Topton, 19562. Interment in Topton Union Cemetery, Topton. Friends may call Saturday from 9:30 to 10:30 AM.
Flowers may be sent or contributions may be made to the Memorial Fund of St. Peter’s UCC Church, 122 West Franklin Street, Topton, 19562. Arrangements are by the Ludwick Funeral Home, Topton, PA.
