Lydia H. Leid
Lydia H. Leid, 88, of Kohler Road, Kutztown, died Monday, July 6, 2009 in the residence of her Son, Caleb N. on Richmond Road, Fleetwood. She was the wife of the late Ivan W. Leid who died on October 7, 1996.
Born in Earl Township, Lancaster County, she was a daughter of the late Elam B. and Katie M. (Horning) Nolt. She was a member of Center Mennonite Church, Kutztown.
She is survived by Sons, Elam N. husband of Bertha W. (Martin) Leid, Shoemakersville, Marvin N. husband of Ellen S. (Weaver) Leid, Withee, WI, Caleb N. husband of Mabel M. (Brubaker) Leid, Fleetwood, Ammon N. husband of Edna S. (Brubaker) Leid, Kutztown; Daughters, Edna N. (Leid) wife of Noah S. Weaver, Versailles, MO, Erma N. Leid, Withee, WI, Vera N. (Leid) wife of Daniel S. Nolt, Greenwood, WI; Sisters, Anna (Nolt) wife of Daniel Stauffer, New Holland, Emma (Nolt) wife of Ivan Shirk, Kutztown, Lucy (Nolt) wife of Earl Martin, Penn Yan, NY; and Brother Ira husband of Mary (Newswanger) Nolt, New Holland; 57 Grandchildren and 139 Great Grandchildren. She was predeceased by Daughter, Anna N. (Leid) wife of Luke S. Brubaker of East Earl; Brothers, Harvey, Titus, Ivan and Willis Nolt and Sister, Eva (Nolt) wife of Harvey Hoover.
Funeral Services are Friday, July 10, 2009 at 9:00 AM from the residence of her Son, Ammon, at 690 Kohler Road, Kutztown, followed by services at 9:30 AM in Center Mennonite Church, Kutztown. Interment in the adjoining church cemetery. Friends may call Thursday from 2:00 to 4:00 PM and 6:00 to 8:00 PM at her son Ammon’s residence. Arrangements are by the Ludwick Funeral Home, Kutztown, PA.
