Lee I. Althouse
Lee I. Althouse, 61, of Muhlenburg Township, died Monday, November 24, 2008 in the Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township, where he had been a patient since November 22nd. He was the husband of Carol V. (Cake) Althouse. They were married on September 21, 1974.
Born in West Reading he was a son of Arlene (Reber) Althouse of Muhlenberg Township and the late Paul Althouse. He was a 1965 graduate of Muhlenberg High School. He was a Vietnam veteran of the US Air Force. Mr. Althouse was the owner of the Althouse Stained Glass Studio, formerly of Kutztown, now located in Muhlenberg Township, where he was a stained glass artisan. He was an Eagle Scout and former Scout Master in Bowers. His family and friends will forever know him as being an avid Miami Dolphins fan.
He is survived by Wife, Mother, Daughter, Tara M. (Althouse) and her husband Kristopher M. Azzaro, Macungie; Son, Todd M. Althouse and his wife Amanda, Blandon; Brother, William Baker, Findley, Ohio.
Celebration of Life Services are Saturday, November 29, 2008 from 1:00 to 4:00 PM at the family residence. Arrangements are by the Ludwick Funeral Home, Kutztown, PA.
