John L. Keim
John L. Keim, 76, of Kutztown, died Monday, August 31, 2009 in The Reading Hospital and Medical Center, West Reading.
Born in Maxatawny Township, he was a son of the late Lawrence J. and Laila M. (Wartzenluft) Keim. Mr. Keim was a 1951 graduate of Kutztown Area High School. He was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church, Kutztown. He was a laborer at the Kutztown Foundry for 42 years, retiring in 1995. Mr. Keim was a member of the Kutztown Fire Company, No.1, Kutztown.
He is survived by Son, John E. Keim husband of Madonna L. DeVerner, Allentown, PA and a Daughter, Pamela C. Keim, Orlando, FL; Sister, Annabelle L. (Keim) wife of Robert Crouthamel, Laureldale, PA and a Grandson, Matthew Keim. In addition, there is a Niece, Robin (Crouthamel) wife of James D. Robertson, Reading and 2 Great Nephews, David and Brian Robertson.
There will be a public calling period Thursday, September 3, 2009 from 1:00 to 2:00 PM in Ludwick Funeral Home, 333 Greenwich Street, Kutztown, services and interment in Hope Cemetery, Kutztown will be private at the convenience of the family.
The family requests contributions be made to the memorial fund of St. John’s Lutheran Church, 201 East Main Street, Kutztown, PA 19530. Arrangements are by the Ludwick Funeral Home, Kutztown, PA.
