Joan D. Hartranft
Joan D. Hartranft, 64, of Crystal Cave Road (Maxatawny Twp.) Kutztown, died Sunday, December 25, 2005, in her residence. She was the wife of Dr. Chester D. Hartranft. They were married June 13, 1964.
Born in Laureldale, PA, she was the daughter of the late Michael and Emma (Drayer) Telliho. She received a B. S. degree in Elementary Education from Kutztown University in 1963. She was a homemaker. She was a member of Zion Moselem Lutheran Church, Kutztown where she was a former Sunday School Teacher and Treasurer of the Sunday School and currently sang on the choir for the past 40 years.
She is survived by Husband, Daughters, Cynthia L. (Hartranft) Luckenbill Kutztown, Cathy S. (Hartranft) Helson of New York City, NY; Son, Timothy M. at home; 2 Grandchildren. She was predeceased by a Daughter, Patricia L. in 1983.
Funeral Services are Wednesday, December 28, 2005 at 11:00 AM in Zion Moselem Lutheran Church, Kutztown. Interment in Zion Moselem Church Cemetery (Richmond Twp) Kutztown. Friends may call Tuesday 7:00 to 8:30 PM in the Ludwick Funeral Home 333 Greenwich Street, Kutztown and Wednesday 10:00 to 11:00 AM in the church.
