Florence Marguerite Johnson
Florence Marguerite Johnson, 89, of Lehigh Commons, Lower Macungie Twp., Lehigh County, formerly of Willow Grove, Montgomery County, and Kutztown, died Saturday, October 29, 2005, in Lehigh Commons where she resided for six years. She was the wife of Einar Cornelius Johnson, they were married December 28, 1938.
Born in Crookston, MN, she was the daughter of the late H. O. and the late Rose M. (Stewart) Hanson. She worked as a substitute teacher in the Upper Moreland School District, Montgomery County, near Hatboro and Willow Grove. She received a bachelor’s degree in elementary education from Moorhead State Teacher’s College, Moorhead, MN, in 1936. She was president of Oak Lane Review Club, Philadelphia during the 1950’s. She was a member of Oak Lane Presbyterian Church, Philadelphia.
She is survived by Husband, Sons, Rolf S. Johnson, Horsham, Montgomery County, PA, Dennis E. Johnson, Kutztown; Daughter, Nancy L. (Johnson) Stamatakos, San Antonio, TX; 5 Grandchildren, 4 Great Grandchildren.
Funeral Services are Wednesday, November 2, 2005 at 2:00 PM from the Ludwick Funeral Home, 333 Greenwich Street, Kutztown. Interment in Zion Moselem Church Cemetery, Kutztown (Richmond Twp.). Friends may call Wednesday, 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM. Arrangements are by the Ludwick Funeral Home, Kutztown, PA.
