Eva R. Treichler
Eva R. Treichler, 91, of Long Lane Road (Greenwich Twp.) Kutztown, died Saturday, May 15, 2004, in the family residence. She was married to the late Asher J. Treichler, who died June 6, 2003.
Born in Lehigh County, PA, she was a daughter of the late Edmund and the late Susan (Herbein) Schlegel. She was employed for several years until 1942 as a cafeteria worker at Kutztown University. She was a member of Saint John’s Lutheran Church, Kutztown.
She is survived by Sons, Feryl J. Treichler (Greenwich Twp.) Kutztown, PA, Lamar L. Treichler (Greenwich Twp.) Kutztown, PA, Larry D. Treichler, (Longswamp Twp.) Mertztown, PA; Brothers, George Schlegel, Kutztown, PA, Carl Schlegel, (Windsor Twp.) Hamburg, PA; Sisters, Fern (Schlegel) Kerchner, Kutztown, Marie (Schlegel) Leslie, Macungie, Lehigh County, PA, Marilyn (Schlegel) Gangaway, Laureldale, PA; 4 Grandchildren, 8 Great Grandchildren.
Funeral Services are Wednesday, May 19, 2004, 10:00 AM from Saint John’s Lutheran Church, 201 East Main Street, Kutztown. Interment in Hope Cemetery, Kutztown. Friends may call 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM in the church.
The family requests contributions to Memorial Fund of St. John’s Lutheran Church, 201 E. Main St., Kutztown, 19530. Arrangements are by the Ludwick Funeral Home, Kutztown, PA.
