Ernest F. Adam
Ernest F. Adam, age 77, of Perry Township, Snyder County, died Monday, June 23, 2003, in Sunbury Community Hospital, Sunbury, Northumberland County. He was married to Helen M. (Kerchner) Adam for 53 years in January.
Born in Kutztown, he was a son of the late Amos and Esther (Wiltrout) Adam. He was a self-employed farmer in Perry Township, and previously in Beaver Springs, Snyder County, and Berks County for 53 years. He was an Army veteran.
He is survived by Wife; Sons, Kenneth E. of Kutztown, Ernest A. of Colby, Wis., David W. and Carl L., both of Richfield, Snyder County; Daughters, Esther M. of Richfield, Brenda H. of Grenoble, McClure, Snyder County, Darlene R. Weader of Middleburg, Snyder County; Brothers, Wayne A. of Fleetwood, Arlan D. of Hamburg, Marvin L. of Lenhartsville; Sister, Dorothy Hoffman of Temple, Pa.; 9 Grandchildren. He was predeceased by a daughter, Dale M. Angstadt, in 2001.
Funeral services will be held 1:30 PM Friday, June 27, 2003, Ludwick Funeral Home, 333 Greenwich St., Kutztown. Family and friends may call 12:30 -1:30 PM Friday. Arrangements are by the Ludwick Funeral Home, Kutztown, PA.
