Elsie E. “Barth” Edelstein
Elsie E. (Barth) Edelstein, age 91, of 70 Edelstein Lane, Longswamp Township, Mertztown, PA, died Wednesday, March 22, 2000, in The Lutheran Home at Topton, where she had resided since November 12, 1999. She was the widow of the late I. Kenneth Edelstein, who died April 16, 1991.
Born in Salisbury Township, Lehigh County, PA, she was the daughter of the late Emil L. and the late Katharine A. (Wallis) Barth. She was a homemaker.
She is survived by 2 Daughters, Lois C. (Edelstein) Nagel, at home and Linda J. (Edelstein), wife of E. William Tuman, Northampton, Mass.; 4 Sons, I. Kenneth Edelstein, Jr., Westville, Fla, Robert N. Edelstein, Grand Ledge, Mich, Thomas B. Edelstein, Fleetwood, PA and Daniel L. Edelstein, Loganton, PA; 18 Grandchildren, 29 Great Grandchildren and 6 Great-Great Grandchildren.
A Funeral Service will be held Saturday at 10:00 AM at the Ludwick Funeral Homes, 25 East Weis Street, Topton, PA. Friends may call Saturday 9:00 AM until time of service. Interment in Greenwood Cemetery, Allentown. The family requests contributions be made to Hospice Saint John.
