Edna May Bidlow
Edna May Bidlow, 70, of Old State Road, Reading, died Wednesday, November 14, 2007 in the Reading Hospital and Medical Center, West Reading, where she had been a patient since October 18th.
Born in Lehigh County, PA she was the daughter of the late Edgar H. and Eleanor P. (Starr) Ely. She was a nurse’s aide at the Hamburg State School, Hamburg, for over 12 years retiring in the early 1990’s. She was an avid bingo player.
She is survived by Companion, Leroy W. Hassler with whom she resided; Sons, Michael K. Bidow, at home, Steven E. husband of Barbara L. (Christ) Bidlow, Boyertown; Sister, Joan M. (Ely) wife of Jacob T. Breyer, Kutztown; Brother, Edgar H. Ely, Jr., Pinegrove; Grandchildren, Talon S. Bidlow and Tarron E. Bidlow.
Funeral Services are Monday, November 19, 2007 at 2:00 PM in the Ludwick Funeral Home, 333 Greenwich Street, Kutztown. Interment in Berks County Memorial Gardens, Fleetwood. Friends may call Monday from 1:00 to 2:00 PM. Arrangements are by the Ludwick Funeral Home, Kutztown, PA.
