Dorothy D. Burger
Dorothy D. Burger, 84, formerly of Macungie and Luther Meadows, died Friday, May 15, 2009 in Kutztown Manor Nursing Home. She was the widow of Albert H. Burger who died March 16, 1973.
Born in Anderson, Missouri, she was a daughter of the late Charles G. and Pearl (Harnar) Kennedy. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Topton. She was a homemaker.
She is survived by Daughters, Connie A. (Burger) wife of Joseph Rainier, Kempton, Barbara J. (Burger) wife of Barry L. Epting, Topton, and Sandra L. (Burger) wife of John C. Jennings, Kresgeville; Sons, Vernon S. Miller husband of Carol, Barnhart, Missouri, Albert D. Burger, husband of Ellen, Crawfordville, Fla, John C. Burger, husband of Bev, Alburtis, and Edward A. Burger, husband of Joan, Oley. There are 2 Sisters, Charlene (Kennedy) widow of Leslie Reynolds, and Bonnie (Kennedy) wife of Dean Schrag, Newton, Kansas; Brother, J. C. Kennedy, Lakewood, Calif. In addition there are 20 Grandchildren and 18 Great Grandchildren.
Memorial Services are Wednesday, May 20, 2009 at 11:00 AM from Trinity Lutheran Church, Home Avenue and Smith Street, Topton. Inurnment will be private at the convenience of the family. There are no calling hours.
