Deryl E. Hansen

Deryl E. Hansen, 64, of Fleetwood, died Friday, March 27, 2009 in his home. He was the husband of Diane M. (Miller) Hansen. They were married January 9, 1983.

Born in Tacoma, Washington, he was a son of the late Earl W. and Alice J. (Grandal) Hansen. He was a member of Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Kutztown. He was a US Army veteran of Vietnam War. He was a custodian from 2001 to the present for Redner’s Warehouse Markets, Maidencreek Township.

He is survived by Wife, Daughters, Naomi R. Hansen, Vancouver, WA, Elizabeth S. Hansen, Toledo, OH; Son, Private John E. Hansen, US Army, stationed at Fort Benning, GA; Step Daughter, Faith A. Brown, Milwaukee, OR; Step Sons, Keith K. Bergstresser, Jr., Milwaukee, OR, David A. Bergstresser, Eugene, OR, and Eric B. Bergstresser, Portland, OR. There is also a Sister, Janet (Hansen) Szczepanski, Seattle, WA; and a Half Sister, Cheri Roberts, Puyallup, WA; Brothers, Earl Hansen, Seattle, WA, George Hansen, California. In addition there are 5 Grandchildren, Michael Brown, Matthew Brown, Aryanna DuQuist and twins Andrew and Aiden Bergstresser.

Graveside Services are Monday, March 30, 2009, 11:00 a.m. in Fairview Cemetery, Maxatawny Township. There are no calling hours.

The family requests contributions be made to the American Cancer Society, 498 Bellevue Ave., Reading, 19605. Arrangements are by the Ludwick Funeral Home, Kutztown, PA.
