Dean S. Keller

Dean S. KellerDean S. Keller, 62, of Mertztown, died Sunday, October 6, 2007 in the residence of his brother-in-law, James M. Werst, with whom he resided. He was the husband of Patty Jane (Werst) Keller. They were married April 17, 1965.

Born in Mansfield, Ohio, he was a son of Vera L. (Reinoehl) Keller, Fruitland Park, Florida, and the late Jesse A. Keller. He was employed by American Nickeloid, Walnutport, for the past six years as a mechanical engineer; prior to that, he worked in the same capacity for Flotech Industries, Jacksonville, Fla. He received an associates degree in business from Harford Community College, Bel Air, Md. He was a US Army veteran of the Viet Nam War, where he received a bronze star with two oak-leaf clusters. He was a member of the National Association of Photoshop Professionals. He was Lutheran.

He is survived by Wife; Sister, Jane L. (Keller) wife of David Cummings, Spring Hill, Fla.; Brothers, Jessee L. husband of Carol L. (Rabenold) Keller, Allentown and William E. husband of Carol L. (Grimes) Keller, Rancho Santa Margarita, Calif.

Funeral Services are Friday, October 12, 2007, at 1:00 PM from Ludwick Funeral Home, 25 East Weis Street, Topton. Interment in Longswamp Union Cemetery, Mertztown. Friends may call Friday from 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM.

The family requests contributions be made to Delaware Valley Golden Retriever Rescue, 60 Vera Cruz Road, Reinholds, PA 17569-9713. Arrangements are by the Ludwick Funeral Home, Topton, PA.
