David G. Clark

David G. Clark, 86, of Weber Drive, Topton and formerly of Effort, PA, died Friday, April 14, 2006, in Henry Health Care Center, The Lutheran Home at Topton, Topton. He was the husband of Margaret E. (Webster) Clark. They were married on November 16, 1962.

Born in Craig, Nebraska, he was the son of the late Arthur G. and the late Cora M. (Bovee) Clark. He owned and operated Clark’s Hardware Store, Broadheadsville, for 15 years retiring in 1985. From 1958 to 1969 he worked in sales in Hale Fire Pump Company, Montgomery County, PA. He graduated from the University of Nebraska in 1942 with a Bachelors degree in Agriculture. He was a Lieutenant in the US Naval Reserve from 1942 to 1946 during WWII. He was a member of Grace Lutheran Church, Topton.

He is survived by Wife, Daughters, Nancy E. (Clark) Kaminski, Huntington, MA, Barbara J. (Clark) Larson, New Braintree, MA; Sons, David D. Clark, Effort, PA (Monroe County), David G. Clark, Westfield, MA, Paul E. Clark, Wilmington, NC; Sister, C. Elizabeth (Clark) Davies, Shippensburg, PA; 12 Grandchildren, 10 Great Grandchildren.

Memorial Services are Sunday, April 23, 2006 at 2:00 PM in Grace Lutheran Church, 1 South Home Avenue, Topton. Private inurnment at the convenience of the family. There are no calling hours.

In lieu of flowers the family requests contributions to the Alder Grove Church, Attention: Russell Lang, 2051 Co. Rd. A, Craig, Nebraska 68019 or Grace Lutheran Church Memorial Fund, 1 South Home Avenue, Topton, 19562. Arrangements are by the Ludwick Funeral Home, Topton, PA.
