Dallas R. O誰eil
Dallas R. O誰eil, 71, of South Laurel Street, Kutztown, died Monday, November 20, 2006 in his residence. He was the husband of Nancy J. (Naus) O誰eil. They were married on November 16, 1957.
Born in West Reading, PA, he was the son of the late Thelma L. O誰eil. He was a foreman for return goods at Glidden Paint, now ICI Paints, Reading, for over 35 years retiring in 1997. He was a US Army peacetime veteran. He was a lifetime member of the Reading Berks Old Timers Hall of Fame, The Kutztown High School Hall of Fame and a member of the high school 1951 and 1952 State Championship Basketball teams. He was one of the founding father痴 of the Cougar Tale and the Golf Tournament Organizer. He was an avid golfer. He was a member of St. Paul痴 UCC Church, Kutztown.
He is survived by Wife, Daughter, Julie A. wife of John E. P. Schmoyer, Kutztown; Son, Kevin A. husband of Jessica A. (Merkel) O誰eil, Fleetwood; Grandsons, Philip C. and Tyler R. Schmoyer.
Funeral Services are Friday, November 24, 2006 at 11:00 AM in St. Paul痴 UCC Church, 47-51 S. Whiteoak Street, Kutztown. Interment with Military Honors in Hope Cemetery, Kutztown. Friends may call Friday from 10:00 to 11:00 AM in the church.
