Clarence L. Boyer
Clarence L. “Blackie” Boyer, 77, of State Street, Mertztown, died Friday, October 24, 2008 in the Lutheran Home at Topton, Topton. He was the husband of the late Dolores F. (Keiser) Boyer who died on May 10, 1990.
Born in Emmaus, Lehigh County, on December 13, 1930 he was a son of the late Ralph W. and Marion K. (Seibert) Boyer. He was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Mertztown. He was a sprayer in the enamel department at the former Caloric Corporation, Topton, from 1949 until retiring in 1990.
He is survived by Daughter, Roxanne (Boyer) wife of Ernest S. Fox, Jr., Barto; Sons, Sheldon C. husband of Mona D. (Moyer) Boyer, Blandon, Kevin T. husband of Rebecca A. (Moyer) Boyer, Mertztown; Brothers, Gerald L. husband of June (Rauenzahn) Boyer, Topton, Barry B. husband of Bonnie (Weaknecht) Boyer, Bethlehem; 6 Grandchildren and 5 Great Grandchildren.
Funeral Services are Tuesday, October 28, 2008 at 1:30 PM in St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, 50 Luther Drive, Mertztown. Interment in Topton Union Cemetery, Topton. Friends may call Tuesday from 12:30 to 1:30 PM in the church.
