Clarence J. Leibensperger, Jr.

Clarence J. Leibensperger, Jr., 77, of Stone Avenue, Alburtis, died Tuesday, May 19, 2009 in the Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township. He was the husband of Frances L. (Greiss) Leibensperger. They were married on June 28, 1952.

Born in Longswamp Township he was a son of the late Clarence J., Sr. and Ida M. (Fritch) Leibensperger. He was a member of the Lutheran congregation of Huff’s Union Church, Alburtis, where he served on the church council. He was a carpenter for over 40 years last working for Anthony Smith, Macungie. His memberships included the Kutztown Grange #1836 where was a past officer, the Pikeville Sportsman’s Association and the Lyons Fire Company.

He is survived by Wife, Daughter, Nancy F. widow of David H. Peters, Topton; Son, William J. Leibensperger, Orwigsburg, Schuylkill County; Brother, LeRoy K. husband of Ruth M. (Greiss) Leibensperger, Alburtis; Grandchildren, Erin R. Gauker, Matthew D. Peters; Great Grandchildren, Emily R. Gauker, Garrett D. Peters and Kaitlyn A. Peters. He was predeceased by Sister, Dorothy L. Gamler.

Funeral Services are Saturday, May 23, 2009 at 10:30 AM in Huff’s Union Church, 540 Conrad Road, Alburtis. Interment in Huff’s Church Union Cemetery, Alburtis. Friends may call Saturday from 9:30 to 10:30 AM in the church.

Flowers may be sent or contributions may be made to Huff’s Union Church Capital Improvement Fund, 540 Conrad Road, Alburtis, PA 18011. Arrangements are by the Ludwick Funeral Home, Topton, PA.
