Betty J. Karasek
 Betty J. Karasek, 80, of Macungie, formerly of Allentown and Millsboro, DE died Saturday, August 15, 2009 in the Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township, where she had been a patient since July 26th.
Born in Longswamp Township, Berks County, she was a daughter of the late Stanley W., Sr. and Lala (Brensinger) Bauman. She was a bartender at the Howard L. Peter, Post #576, American Legion and the Lehigh Valley Club, both of Allentown. She was also a cashier at Walmart, Lewes, DE. She was a member of the Howard L. Peter, Post 576#, American Legion Ladies Auxiliary, Allentown, and the Alburtis Senior Citizens.
She is survived by Son, Michael S. husband of Debra J. (Missmer) Karasek, Landenberg, Chester County; Granddaughters, Teresa L. Faux and Molly A. Faux; Great Granddaughters, Danica M. King and Giselle M. Wilson. She was predeceased by Brother, Stanley W. Bauman, Jr.
Memorial Services are Saturday, August 22, 2009 at 10:30 AM in Longswamp UCC Church, 200 Clay Road, Mertztown. Inurnment in Longswamp Union Cemetery, Mertztown. Friends may call Saturday from 9:30 to 10:30 AM in the church.
The family requests contributions to the American Cancer Society, Lehigh Valley Unit, 3893 Adler Place, Bethlehem, PA 18017. Arrangements are by the Ludwick Funeral Home, Topton, PA.
