Bertha M. Griesser
Bertha M. Griesser, 89, formerly of Heilman House, Topton (Longswamp Twp.), died Saturday, March 4, 2006, in Henry Health Care Center, The Lutheran Home at Topton, Topton, PA (Longswamp Twp.), where she resided since July 2005. She was the wife of the late Edward R. Griesser who died July 26, 1996.
Born in Philadelphia, PA, she was the daughter of the late Morris H. and the late Bertha R. (Meyers) Maxwell. She was employed at the former Coffman Pharmacy, Lansdowne, PA from 1949 to 1969. She was a member of Most Blessed Sacrament Roman Catholic Church, Bally (Washington Twp.).
She is survived by Daughter, M. Anne (Griesser) wife of Anthony DeOliveira, Macungie, (Lehigh County); 5 Grandchildren, 11 Great Grandchildren. She was predeceased by a son, Edward R. Griesser, Jr., who died in 1986.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday, March 7, 2006, 10:00 AM from Most Blessed Sacrament Roman Catholic Church, Pine Street, Bally. Interment in parish cemetery. Friends may call Tuesday, 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM in the church.
The family requests contributions be made to Most Blessed Sacrament RC Church, P.O. Box C, Bally, 19503-1003, or The Lutheran Home at Topton, One South Home Ave., Topton, 19562. Arrangements are by the Ludwick Funeral Home, Topton, PA.
