Beatrice I. Rothermel
Beatrice I. Rothermel, 77, of St. Peter’s Road, Macungie, died Tuesday, September 16, 2008 in Allentown. She was the wife of the late John J. Rothermel who died on May 2, 1999.
Born in Oley, PA she was a daughter of the late Franklin A. and Grace G. (Davis) Drey. She was a member of the Lutheran Congregation of St. Peter’s Union Church, Macungie. She was a homemaker. She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Seisholtzville Fire Company and an avid bingo player.
She is survived by Sons, David J. husband of Mary Ann (Heffley) Rothermel, St. Louis, MO, Allan J. husband of Connie (Steckhouse) Rothermel, Pennsburg, Philip J. husband of Cindy L. (Trexler) Rothermel, Lyons; Sisters, Mary E. (Drey) Bauer, and Doretha (Drey) Boyer, both of Macungie, Minnie M. (Drey) Kline, Barto; 11 Grandchildren; 15 Great Grandchildren. She was predeceased by Daughter, Julia J. Kurtz in 1997.
Funeral Services are Monday, September 22, 2008 at 1:30 PM in St. Peter’s Union Church, 7863 St. Peter’s Road, Macungie. Interment in St. Peter’s Union Cemetery, Macungie. Friends may call Monday from 12:30 to 1:30 PM.
