Arlene A. Adam
Arlene A. Adam, 96, formerly of Moselem Springs Road, Fleetwood, died Tuesday, April 8, 2008 in the Lehigh Valley Hospital, Cedar Crest. She was the wife of the late John H. Adam who died on July 13, 1996.
Born in Richmond Township, Berks County, PA she was a daughter of the late Elmer A. F. and Lizzie (Seidel) Kline. She was a member of Becker’s St. Peter’s Lutheran Church, Fleetwood. She was a 1931 graduate of the former Kutztown State College, Kutztown, receiving a BS Degree in Education. She was a school teacher at the Richmond Elementary School, Fleetwood School District, from 1931 until retiring in 1968. She was a member of the ELCW and a member of the East Penn Berks County and Pennsylvania Retired Teacher’s Association.
She is survived by Step Daughter, Barbara J. (Adam) wife of William Ely, Oley; Stepson, Robert J. husband of Linda A. (May) Adam, Mertztown; 7 Step Grandchildren; 6 Step Great Grandchildren.
Funeral Services are Friday April 11, 2008 at 10:30 AM in the Ludwick Funeral Home, 333 Greenwich Street, Kutztown. Interment in Becker’s St. Peter’s Cemetery, Fleetwood. Friends may call Friday from 9:30 to 10:30 AM. Arrangements are by the Ludwick Funeral Home, Kutztown, PA.
